Alexander Jarman

Alexander Jarman has worked as an educator and curator for art museums and institutions including the Walters Art Museum, The San Diego Museum of Art, and Point Loma Nazarene University. He has also curated exhibitions for Maryland Art Place, School 33 Art Center, Helmuth Projects, and Southwestern College. He is co-Founder and Curator at Cardinal gallery space and runs the monthly listening party called Baltimore Kissa Society.

As a curator, he has worked with artists including Roberto Lugo, The Protest Banner Lending Library, Maria Chavez, The Yes Men, Yinka Shonibare, M.B.E., Pierre Bismuth, Jon Rubin, My Barbarian, Mark Tribe, Steve Lambert and Jaimie Warren. He has served as a Board Member for arts organizations including The Motor House, Jubilee Arts, and SDSpace4Art.  He has been a guest lecturer/visiting critic at University of Maryland Baltimore County and Maryland Institute College of Art.

Occasionally, his personal art practice shows up in galleries around the country.
